The main composition of 迠Che daily utensils is the use of the elegant white. Its simplicity reveals depth of life, as if carrying the meaning of time. It remains unchanged, simple and pure. In addition to white, a few common colors from the earth and life are added out of love for life, combined with reverence for the land and humility towards fire.

“乃是这些年生活平常的点滴积攒起来,满足日常所需,是手作者的生活,乃是普通人的生活。
常常道具装点生活,乃是好看乃是有用。
被问起,碗怎么都这么大,乃是西北人家的生活用具。
成年后到南方生活,一餐多菜式乃是南方姑娘的故乡。
广州和景德镇两地定居,西方东方城市乡野的多元融合,
乃是乃是丰富的乃是日常。
乃是日常,乃是需要常伴。”

INFORMATION

  • All production processes are done by hand in JingDeZhen

  • Size: Every of them has size difference of 0.5-1 cm

  • Hand Marks: After the initial shaping, only the external form is trimmed, and the inner walls are left unaltered, preserving the handmade pottery marks.

  • Glaze: Occasionally, there may be small air bubbles when using the glaze-dipping method. Uneven application of glaze by hand can result in glaze buildup or drips. In pieces with a higher flow, the glaze surface may exhibit variations in depth and, in severe cases, the glaze may flow and reveal the underlying clay body.

  • Raw Materials: Small black spots may be present due to the mixed minerals in the clay, causing variegation after firing.

  • Firing Process: During the firing process, occasional specks of ash from the kiln shelves may leave small gray spots.

  • Clay Body: The foot ring is left unglazed, preserving the texture of the clay body as per the requirements of the firing process.

  • Surface: The surface of the pottery may exhibit slight irregularities, and there may be variations in the texture and scratches, with each piece being unique.

All of the above are common occurrences in the process of creating handmade pottery and are not considered defects.
