An evening of Japanese ceramics, seasonal cuisine, and curated sake
Kyoto ceramic artist Fuminari Araga is known for his handcrafted kohiki vessels, inspired by the quiet beauty of Joseon ceramics. Using white slip beneath a translucent glaze, each piece has a soft, warm finish that reflects the maker's hand.
Together with Songs from the Pantry, we are delighted to share the works of Fuminari Araga through an evening of seasonal food and curated sake. Five seasonal courses will be served on Araga's handcrafted ceramics, accompanied by three thoughtfully selected sake pairings in Kimura Glass. Throughout the evening, guests are invited to explore the collection and experience how handmade ceramics enrich the dining table.
