Yang Xiong is a ceramic artist whose work reflects an Eastern appreciation for simplicity and quiet beauty.

Meticulously hand-finished and free from elaborate decoration, his vessels are defined by a restrained palette of black, white, grey, and earthy brown. Working with kohiki, stoneware clay, and natural ash and mineral glazes, he creates warm, understated pieces with rich, rustic textures, thoughtfully made for everyday life.
