Kohiki pottery is slightly porous and naturally develops unique marks over time; before first use, soak it in rice water for at least 2 hours to help reduce staining.
Water marks after washing are a natural characteristic and will fade as the pottery dries. Wash with mild detergent, dry thoroughly, and store in a dry place.
Hand wash recommended. Not suitable for the microwave, oven, or dishwasher. Avoid sudden temperature changes and strong impacts, as they may cause cracks.
Because each piece is handmade, you might see small black spots, differences in glaze color, size, shape, or glaze drips. These are natural and make each item unique.
Handle with care to avoid chips and cracks.
