Tea Master Chuang Chia-yu is back in our space, bringing the art and spirit of Japanese tea-making she learned in Kyoto. Join us for a matcha tearoom session designed to slow down, savour the moment, and enjoy tea mindfully.

We’ll begin with a quiet welcome, giving you a moment to pause and settle in. Socks will be provided as a simple gesture of respect and to keep the tatami mats clean, before matcha, along with a tea bowl and whisk, is introduced.

As the matcha is sifted, measured, and whisked into a vibrant, fragrant froth, you will be guided to taste slowly, letting the gentle bitterness and natural sweetness reveal themselves, perfectly complemented by seasonal okashi. The session concludes with relaxed conversation, where tea becomes more than a drink and serves as a way to connect with others.

During this period, we will also host a showroom featuring Chuang Chia-yu’s personal collection from her time in Japan. The showroom includes tea ware, matcha bowl and art pieces by various artists, which you can explore and purchase in our store. Matcha will also be available for retail.

With tatami seating and a softly traditional setting, the space is transformed into a calm, serene tearoom. Whether you are new to matcha or already a devoted enthusiast, this is a rare chance to pause, taste, and appreciate together.

Please note: Guests will be seated on traditional tatami as part of the authentic tea ceremony. We kindly request that you arrive 10 minutes early to settle in and fully enjoy the experience.
