Our kohiki pottery is slightly porous and can absorb water and oils. Please immerse the new dish in water for more than 2 hours before using it and absorb plenty of moisture. Doing that work will prevent stain and dirt.

Please don’t leave food and beverages in it for a long time, or moisture seeping out of it will penetrates into the table and make spots.

Do not use in Microwave, oven and dishwasher. However, rapid change in temperature and impacts may cause cracks on the surface.

Because each piece is handmade, you might see small black spots, differences in glaze color, size, shape, or glaze drips. These are natural and make each item unique.

Handle with care to avoid chips and cracks.
